Hi all, just got a 21 Ram 1500 Laramie and working on some mods

I am planning to remove my chrome tailgate “Laramie “ and “4x4” badging but I was told by a detailer there are pin hold behind them. I assume they are for locator holes.
Is this correct or can I just remove them and not need to replace or fill holes and paint?

I think that those are stick on. Try some fishing line(braided) and see if the adhesive can be sawed off. Then use an eraser wheel on a drill to finish getting the adhesive off. The rams head is definitely snapped into holes

+1 on what Trooper said. The Ram head is held into place with tape and clips. The others are tape. If you have the rebel, I read that the "RAM" letters are clips as well.
