I just polished my Limited with Liquid Glass and it’s absolutely phenomenal. This is the 3rd coat in 6 weeks and the metallic is coming out now even more. The metallic flakes have a brown tint to it and it’s giving the truck a bit of a brown shade when it’s in the sun. Loving it.

Looks good. I have almost the same truck!

That’s awesome. I swapped out the 22” wheels for a set of Laramie 20” wheels. Rides so much better. What version do you have?

I love Liquid Glass but save my remaining container for my Corvette. The company went under a couple of years ago and it can't be found anymore.

I use to use it years ago and after returning from overseas I couldn't find it so it makes sense that it isn't made anymore.

If that truly has any type of abrasives in it like a true polish would, stop doing it so often. Polishing can be overdone, as you are removing clear coat each application. Should only polish when you have to.

It’s not an abrasive. It’s a sealant almost like a ceramic coating but not technically that. It’s literally like adding a very thin coat of glass above the paint. I’ve used it for years on my Hellcat, I would park mine next to another PCP hellcat and the difference in color was noticeable. It’s like adding a magnifying glass to the metallic in how it brings it out.

got ya, not sure why a company would use the word polish in something that isn't a polish. Seems stupid to me on their part.

That is definitely awesome! Do you have a replacement when the LG runs out?

I have 1.5 gallons left. I will probably switch to FInish First as it's nearly identical to Liquid Glass. So close I can't find a difference in the chemicals used and their %. Even the warning uses the exact same language on the bottle.

Thanks!

Looks fantastic! I ceramic coated mine the first weekend I got it. It makes the flake in the ivory really pop in the sun.

Do you prep prior to using? The Finish First site says to wash with there wash, then prep, then polish. My truck is 10 mos old since build, just got it at the end of June. Haven’t gone over it to determine any contamination. Looking for the least work in keeping the cc/paint protected and glossy. Having a hard time paying the price for ceramic coating and don’t want to put that kind of prep and effort in myself.

Yes, I washed with the prep wash and then I clay barred the truck, followed by another wash and dry with a leaf blower. Then applied it in the sun. I have will do it again in 2 weeks. This stuff makes the paint look better every single time you use it.

OK. Got it. What did you use for the clay bar lube?

I have a couple questions regarding increasing the tire size. (1) Do you have any rubbing issues? (2) how did you change your speedo?
