Hey all,

Ok so it’s not a work truck, it’s for bikes, everyday family stuff. Will likely have a soft trifold Tonneau on it.

So, Linex Premium was quoted at $550 I believe, standard at $450 and from a shop who sprays not sure what, they want $425.

What’s the consensus?

I have had linex, bullyhide, my 2019 has one by autoplex… guaranteed not to fade or get light... I had that problem with the bullyhide one.. line x was a harder material, and my stuff slid around more than the others.. about the same price though...

Thanks! Slid around more on the Linex bed?

ditto on the plasticky feel of the Linex, had it in my last truck. I was actually surprised by how grippy the factory liner is in my new Ram. Its much more rubbery

Ive read many reviews stating the line x being harder and less grippy, but its like a double edge sword. The softer liners seem to be more prone to tearing when hauling/sliding heavier items. Yes, most have lifetime warranty's now, But not sure I want to have to have it fixed all the time.

the bullyhide was softer, and never tore... and I had a lot of stuff from landscaping boulders, rocks for the landscape, dirt and breeze, and all kinds of furniture...

Please do not get me wrong...I had no complaints with LINEX. The grip of one liner vs another is a personal preference thing. I only became aware that there was a difference when I went to slide a heavy item into my bed. It was much more difficult to push the item across my new factory liner than it ever was over my LINEX. So keep that in mind when you are shopping. I think LINEX probably has the right mix of bed protection and grip if you often load heavier items into your bed without another's assistance. If you're riding ATV's/Motorcycle's into your bed, you may want the factory liner in order not to slide into the cab wall.
