When heated does the whole wheel get warm including the top and bottom wood parts?

Takes longer for all that wood to heat up vs. the leather.

Mine is same as SpeedyV-Bottom leather gets much warmer than wood top. I would say mine only gets warm-never hot. Now my Jeep JL will get hot!

Mine gets too hot very quickly on the leather parts and warm/comfortable on the wood section. I usually turn it off after a few minutes of use. My seats also get hot very quickly even on the lowest setting.

The materials absorb heat at different rates. Over time they will equalize. On initial warm up, you will notice the leather being warm (or hot) but not the wood. The laws of physics apply.
