Just got the lift on. RC 5” with 35x12.50’s -18 offset. Ride quality is essentially unchanged outside the fact of larger heavier tires. Mileage about 1.5 to 2 less mpg. Will update with measurements soon. I deliberated for months between the rc 5” and bds 4”. Very well known local installer (4 shops across texas) said that for the rams with air suspension that the rc lift is good to go but would not recommend rc for non air ride trucks.

Looks great! Ive got a Laramie orp long bed I was thinking about a 4 or 6" on. This gives me good insight! Can you take a photo directly from the side as even as possible? Trying to see what it looks like from the side

Lol at the RC comment. Makes no sense why people hate them so much, it’s the same kit so I mean.....

Anyways, truck looks good

The installer said a few things: weld quality and thickness of material are the big items. So depending on someones usage should really determine what kit then purchase.

What I’m saying is it’s the same kit. You have the same diff drop and spindles. It’s a ridiculous statement.

First one is in normal mode and 2nd is in OR1; so you could see how it would look with a 6” lift.

I just got mine done on Thursday too and it's great! I had Day Star leveling spacers + Revel Links but was never really happy with the ride height or quality. The RC 5" lift rides better than leveling kit and looks so nice! I kept the factory limited wheels (22") along with 35" Ridge Grapplers and added 2" Hubcentric spacers, as it was rubbing the knuckle without them. I also went ahead and added my weathertech mud guards back on with a slight modification to make them not rub. (I added an eye bolt and a T nut to pull in the inner part of the mud guard away from the tire. This pictures are in NORMAL (no ORP). The distance from floor to top of fender is 43.25" all around, except on the driver rear where it is 42.5" (due to full tank of gas).

Looks great man. Im looking into possibly adding revel links to my lift so i can get the rear 1” higher. Its dead nut level now but id like to have just an inch of rake.
