Hello everyone, just a few request and questions, sorry if this type of tread has been posted before.

I want to get the rake out of my truck, although I understand the purpose for the rake like many others I still want to get rid of it. I was debating between strictly a levelling kit but then looking at some prices I figured maybe it’s worth just spending the extra money to do a mild lift. I don’t want anything crazy (had a crazy high 2007 Lifted Ram 2500). I am thinking along the lines of 2 to 4 inches of lift and tires. So here we go with the questions and request

1) What lift kit old be the best choice. Mopar (extremely expensive) ? ReadyLift? BDS? Rough Country? Any that I may not be thinking off? Again I want the rake to disappear. I hear the Mopar one keeps the rake still? If it’s a mild one I may consider, but I don’t know.

2) If I leave my factor 20 rims/tires on for the time being will it look ok with the mild lifts? I do plan on going to up 33” to even 35”, but this is yet to be determinded and when I will get them I don’t know. I do know I am not a fan of the factory tires, well not as much as I like Duratrac‘s or something of that nature. I have had good past luck with the Duratrac’s. My Ram 2500 had Toyo Open Country M/T but first they are expensive ($1000/ea or the 38.5 I had) and second I don’t need something like that. But I will say, those Toyo’s still excellent on the highway as far as wear was concerned.

3) I have a 2019 Ram Sport model, not sure if this is Canadian only model or not. Can anyone who has this model post pictures of the lift kits and tire combo’s you have? I know the Sport model sits lower then most all the other models if I am not mistaken, therefore I want to get an idea of what the truck will look like and how high it will sit. Love the truck and the looks of the truck, just not too thrilled about how low it is. But what the heck can you expect with a truck that has the name SPORT in it :)

4) Measurements would be nice. Center of hub to bottom of fender well, ground level to bottom of door opening, ground level to top of bumper, ground level to bottom of window etc..

5) Mopar would be the only one I wouldn’t have any warranty concerns. From experience has anyone had troubles with local dealers or FCA in regards to warranty on the non-factory lift kit companies? I mean if warranty is a huge issues, then I would probably go with Mopar regardless of rake, but if the lift are generally the same height I don’t think it would be cause for alarm.

Anything I left out or recommendations please feel free to let me know.

Thanks

19BlueStreakSport, I have a 19 4x4 off road package (ORP), I first added MotoFab 2" on top of strut leveling spacers, then straped on Ready upper control arms, I measured roughly 2.5 taller up front. If you want more lift, Ready lift seems to the only vendor that does a 3.5" that does not involve adding lower "A" arm and additional cross members and other extension parts, it does come with their upper "A" arms, have you looked at FCA's stock uppers; Ready Lift's HD ball joint and angle seems superior to me, that's why I used them even with a 2" leveling. BDS and Rough Contry have 4" & 6" kits which I think make the truck look great, but for the price, is the ride quality still there? I think down the road I might do at least the 4" kit. I then added 305/55R-20's on 20x10 Vision 360 Sliver wheels, I really thought the truck would be a little higher since the ORP is 1" taller than the stock 4x4's, but still pleased with it for now. With these tires, I am only about an 1" or so taller, 4% over the stock tire, so nothing to worry with sensors, steering angles, ect. Look on Custom Offset's Gallery web site, pleanty of our rigs on there with all sorta lift kits and tire combo's. As far as dealer's, everone seems to be a little different with mods, talk to the service manager and get to know them. Check out my pics.

If not hard core offroader. You may go for 3.5 inch rough country lift. I never have any issue on my any truck. My truck barely see 3bto 4 trips off pavement per year. I would definitely recommend 3.5 inch RC over leveling kit. Financially make more sense if you are paying someone else to do it. IMG_20190810_105445~2.jpg

I have the 4 corner air levelling however the Daytec spacers I used are actually for coil over struts . If you have factory air struts you need to add the custom level sensor links like I made in the pics below . See Tim and tire specs in my signature.
