I'm currently leveled with RC drop side steps on my Laramie, but wanting to ditch the steps for a cleaner look. Anyone else leveled not running side steps? I'm 5'9" and my wife is 5'5". We can both get in/out but I am wondering about sliding off the seat while getting out and causing early wear versus utilizing the steps. Plus I wanna see some pics! And before ya'll ask, yes I've thought about installing OEM or AMP power steps...just not rich enough yet, LOL.

Trust me I understand that, but to me seeing the height situation keeping the steps is the wisest way. I’m 6’2” and my wife is 5’1” so not having steps isn’t an option for me. I pulled my stationary steps and wife purchased some Amp steps as an early Father’s Day gift. Definitely cleans up the look, yet allows her to bounce in and out. 514D023F-3892-4880-94F8-689DB75A41E6.jpeg

I much prefer the clean look without the steps, but will probably end up picking up some AMP steps at some point. For what it's worth though I'm not seeing excessive wear on the bottom cushion yet.

Thanks for the photos. Definitely a much cleaner look. I'll probably end up investing in the power steps as well.
