Just order my Backcountry because of all the options that the package offered. I love the two tone look, but cant get past the wheels and tires. Am I the only one who thinks the wheels and tires look too small and odd on this truck? Maybe I'm just being too critical, but the this almost stopped me from ordering one all together.
I thought so too but they’re actually not terrible in person. Even so I’ll be upgrading a bit bigger when the stock tires are ready to be replaced.

Thinking the tires look much smaller due to the raised ride height. I seen it’s only 1” but think it’s more. Here’s my old Laramie with 20” wheels next to a Back Country. It’s quite a height difference.

I’m with you on the tires. Mine looks like it skipped leg days. I’d like to go with 295/70/18 but am kinda worried the weight different will kill what little mpg i get now.

I think that size would be perfect on stock rims and no other mods.

Not sure who’s truck this is but I screenshot this one for future reference. This looks great.

Yes! The tires aren’t doing any favors. My end goal is to have a full Fox 2.5 suspension system and Fuel Rebels paired with 35x12.50’s. But I’m currently saving for a wedding and don’t have the extra $8k to drop into an already new truck. I just want something a little beefier that’ll hold me over until I can afford to do all the upgrades I want.

When you get your truck sell your wheels and tires to me. I want that exact set!!

I just put a 2.0/1.5 lift on my Laramie this past weekend, and I swear it still looks like my buddy's Backcountry sits exactly the same as mine or maybe just a tick higher. So I personally think the 1" lift that's advertised is actually a little more than that on the ORG suspension trucks.

Wheels don’t bother me but I do agree that the tires are to small.

I recently took possession of my BC. Yes you are correct. The tires are way too small for this truck. It's the one thing that drives me nuts. I plan to just deal with it until the tires wear out and then replace them. We are not alone in our thoughts. The TFL guys on YouTube say the same thing. Even from a distance, the tires look odd to me. Oh well other than that I love the truck.

I like the look of 18s on a "offroad" truck. It's the fact that the BC 18s are just a black version of the cheapest wheel they offer that pisses me off.

It does look pretty high stock. Mine has quite a rake though. I am still trying to decide the best way to work that out.

I don't mind the wheels/tires on the Backcountry. I mean the whole package is a huge value for only $2,695 and is jam packed with some great options. That it doesn't come with huge tires/wheels doesn't bother me because the package would cost a lot more - to give an idea, the 20" wheel is a $1600 upcharge on the Big Horn (I realize it would likely be a different wheel/ tire upgrade for the Backcountry).

18x9 rim
295/70r18
Can you post more pictures of your truck? preferably some more side shots. I am curious on how the tire size fits the wheel well.

I actually wish I could fit smaller wheels. Definitely want larger tires once the stock ones wear out.

Haha…what a copy cat!!!but I love it. Got fuel contra in candy blue. But I wanted to fill in the gap by going with 20” rims. With the same spec falcon wildpeak at3, just in 20” size instead of 18” rims. Fits in there very nice and love the look. I gained 2” with my setup.

So it was 60 degrees this morning and I turned on my heated seat and stearing wheel, drove 30 minutes and they barely got warm. I'm coming from a 4th gen and both got very warm. I really hope this is just because it's the first time I've used them.

Haha I drove my wife’s 4th gen yesterday and commented on how well her heated seats worked compared to mine.

I thought the same on the heated seats. Do you dont think it has anything to do with them being cloth do you?
