I've seen the various solutions that members have come up with to provide an acceptable level of lighting at the back of the truck when in reverse, and everything is far superior to what the OEM lighting offers. Most of the solutions have used square LED auxiliary lights, some mounted beside the trailer hitch, some on a bracket under the truck, and so on.
I'm not so concerned with the installation but the aftermarket LED lamps themselves. There was one installation photograph that used a contoured lamp housing, similar shape to half of a headlight housing that was commonly found on cars in the '30s. It was like a bucket lamp, but only half of it.
I know my description is a little fuzzy but it is very hard to describe.
If anyone can point me towards that particular conversion using these type of lights, I'd appreciate it.
