Has anyone tied a light bar into the fog light plug and had it turn on and off by itself ? If so I’d love to know how you fixed it because I believe that’s what’s happening to mine

Probably drawing too much power from that circuit. Would be better off to run a relay to the switch from that circuit instead of powering the light from it. Power the light from the battery.

Turning on and off sounds like a bad ground. Does it only happen while driving or does it happen while parked?

How big/how many watts is your light bar? Could be drawing too much current from the fog light circuit but I would have thought it would just blow the fuse.

It’s while driving that i noticed it. I cut the wires and are waiting for the harness to come in that’s made for the light bar

if it’s only while driving I would guess it’s a bad ground and it’s wiggling around while driving.

since you ordered a wiring harness that should solve your Problem because all you gotta do is just wire to power and ground.

Is it happen when your driving and turning, the trucks have a feature that turns the fogs on when turning to help light up the ground while turning. Could this be what's happening?

I didn’t even think about that but yeah I noticed it most when I was turning through the neighborhood
