Led door sill

[ram1500L]

Anybody install this led door sill on ram 1500?. This truck is canbus lighting, So before I install just wanted to know which wires this was tapped into.

I’d love to know where they tap into as well. They look cool! Bet they’re expensive though...

i was going to try dome light wire, but with this canbus stuff I was bit hesitant. Can some one shed light on it?

I would use a fuse tap into one of the non-essential circuits in the interior fuse box, below the steering column.
That way it is fused and its easily removable, no hacking of factory wiring.

if you live in a very "climate"area like me.where we get tons of snow.better forget it(IMHO).

What about power side steps. Would you be able to tap those wires. Wouldn't they come on when open. Off when closed?

I have factory power running boards. Left and right side Independent opening, but to not mess with those wire I am just going to relay off the either the footwell light, dome light or cargo. Been really busy with work so maybe work on this weekend.
