LED brake lights on trailers?

I am considering swapping out the incandescent brake lights on my travel trailer for LEDs. I'm told elsewhere, that in some trucks, the towing circuit doesn't recognize the LEDs and flashes a warning... anyone familiar with this? Is it an issue with the 5th gen?

I have done this on several trailers and never had an issue. I don't think trailers have this issue.

My car trailer has LEDs everywhere.

Most of the LED lights for trailers are assemblies with resistors built in, which makes them work when replacing incandescent bulbs. If you were to put led bulbs in the old fixtures then you may run into problems with flashing.
