What luck has anybody had getting the extended warranty to pay for you rear window fix/replacement for leaking in water? I’ve been in a three day loop between the dealership and warranty department trying to get some answers. I’ve got a bumper to bumper platinum warranty that “covers” windows, yet I can get any answers wether or not they actually will. If they don’t what did it cost to repair/replace?

fidelity would not cover. I had to contact Ram cares

When i first got my 2019 bighorn, i found the rear window leaking. Found small cracks in the frame on the interior bezel. (Common issue) After all the back and forth with the dealer, i decided to fix it myself. Cost $5. Just grab some Permatex windshield sealant. It flows really well. I just put in the channel under the third brake light. Hasn't leaked since. Cant see it when its done. I didn’t really want some “Tech” prying out my old back window, if there was nick anywhere in the paint and rust developed it would be a nightmare.

I did this to my front windshield leak on my 2015 as well. Held up as long as i had it.

Awesome advised and details pics

I also used Permatex to seal my rear window cracks and MD auto and marine rubber seal for the third brake light gasket replacement. My truck has gone thru a car wash and a day of steady to hard rain. No leaks seen or felt.
