noticed a softball size puddle of oil/fluid under my truck today. Crawled underneath to find it leaking from the furthest rear passenger cab mount. 2019 Ram 1500 crew cab. any ideas? truck is under warranty and dealer said I was nuts..... are these fluid filled? Also would this cause an on and off vibration while towing above 68 MPH (vibration stops when I hit a bump then resumes). cab mount 1.jpg

I suspect it's water leaking out that was trapped in the frame rail. I had the same thing happen when I removed one of the tow hook bolts that goes into the frame. Water is probably getting in there from the AC drain leaking onto the passenger side frame rail.

There is no fluid. Something spilled on the floor could eventually make it's way to that area of the floor, and then leak down the threads of the mount bolt.

Hydraulic body mounts are very common in newer vehicles, it could very well be fluid filled.
Never heard that. Of course I haven't worked as a mechanic in 30 years.

Let me put this to rest for those of you that don’t believe there is any fluid in the body mounts.
2019 Ram Rebel. This was AFTER I wiped it all off. Not water, slippery oily substance.

Did you find out what it was, I just had the same problem rear passenger side. Took to dealership and they had no idea

Just found the same thing with my 2019 1500. Over the past two months I occasionally found a very small spot of an oily substance on my driveway but I could not figure out where it was coming from. Finally, I identified it's the passenger side rear body mount. I have no symptoms like noise or ride related issues. The truck only has 33,000 miles on it as it's not my primary vehicle. The warranty is over so not looking forward to what that is going to cost.

Anyone else’s 2019 Ram Bighorn doing this too? Back right passenger side as well, like most. Definitely not something leaking on the floor, into it, there’s oil spots all over the driveway. Can only imagine the cost to replace it?

I just replaced the front 4 cab body mounts for less than $100. Not sure of the rear mount cost, but it shouldn't be bad if 4 was under $100. The rear cab mounts appear larger, so they could be more, but I wouldn't expect much more.

I had mine done by a local mechanic who I've used for years. The part was just shy of $200 his cost and the rest was labor. All in it cost me a bit under $500.
