I have a 2019 ram rebel with 30k miles on it that is leaking somewhere on the back window. Had it towed to the dealer multiple times due to radio frequency hub getting wet and shutting down the truck. The dealership is telling me it’s going to be $1500 to replace back window but I keep hearing people say that there is an extended warranty on this leak? Can anyone help me with this before I have to spend all this money?

There is supposed to be a TSB on it. Tons of post on here about it you search. It's either the window or the CHMSL.

I have a 2019 Ram Laramie 4x4 with 31,000 miles on it. The RF Hub which controls the truck's ignition system has now failed twice. Ram Care just says you are out of warranty, we cant help you. I have paid out of pocket once to fix this issue created by a horrible design flaw (the window and 3rd tail light leak and the RF hub is situated directly below this). Now, 8 months later I have a dead truck again. Thank goodness this did not happen in the back country. Ram used to be a great company, but they now sell very expensive garbage with ZERO customer service. I will never buy another Ram after this experience and I will do everything in my power to prevent others from making the same expensive mistake I made.

If you do the repair, I would suggest replacing both the cab tail light and the back window. I only replaced the 3rd tail light the first time, I guess I should have paid to replace both. The water is likely getting in from one of those 2 spots. So frustrating!

It's known to wrap the hub in plastic to help with the possibility of issues down the road. Yes we shouldn't have to, but all manufacturers have their issues and poor quality now days.

they stopped replacing the window and the best they will do is reseal it. 1500 is stupid expensive. you can get it done cheaper with a better window. the dealer is just going to have a 3rd party do it and then add a charge on top of it.
320+150 for shipping 470 for the glass there is NO WAY labor is 1000.

Call your insurance company and see what they will do, you might be surprised

My insurance covered the failed hub and the carpet that had minor mold after hurricane Milton last October poured water through my leaky window that had been leaking since I got the vehicle new. Wouldn't cover the window itself because it wasn't damaged by the rainstorm. So I used the carpet money to replace the window at Safelite (lifetime warranty). Also my CHMSL started leaking about 2 months ago. It was covered by RAM on the special extension warranty for that item on my truck. Also the replacement window started leaking again about the same time as the CHMSL so had to get Safelite to replace it under warranty. Turns out the window they used the first time had a design flaw. The window they used this time is improved and doesn't have the design flaw. Everything is buttoned up tight now. Luckily the CHMSL leak (rotted seal) and the replacement window leak didn't fry my RF hub again.
