Laramie level A package change

So the truck that I test drove a few months ago had the Laramie level A package and it included blind spot protection. The truck I bought last Saturday also has the Laramie level A package but it does not include blind spot protection and the package was $200 cheaper. I didn't know that they changed that sort of thing mid year.

Are you certain the first truck didn't have Level 1 instead of Level A? As far as I know, the only differences between the two are BSM and price.

Your right. It was level 1. I didn't know that both were available. Or maybe level A replaced level 1?

Yes, Level A has temporarily replaced Level 1 because of the chip shortage

Yes because of the chip shortage that change was made to basically anything produced in Mid-February.
