Kia, incredible mpg

My parents have a 2019 Kia Forte with the CVT transmission. It's daily driven, pretty much all rural/highway, I've seen it better than this but thought I'd share it with the forum to give us all something to dream about. Incredible what they can eke out just standard gas engines these days, maybe electric won't take over as quick we thought it might. Car hasn't even had its first oil change yet!

5.0 L/100km = 47 mpg. Best I've seen it is at 4.8 L/100km = 49 MPG.

My 2013 Elantra could get me in the 5.5-5.7 range on a 800kms trip
Haven’t had to make this trip yet with the ram. Should be close

Wow, I'm currently getting 33/34 MPG out of my Mazda and am pretty satisfied. Almost 50 would be crazy.

What does this have to do with 5th gen Ram trucks?

I once owned a 1985 Chevy Sprint with a 1L 3 cylinder engine. It got 45 mpg. I don't miss that car at all.
