Key fob issues

Just bought a 2020 Rebel a month ago. Zero problems until I got out tonight and noticed the passive entry locks weren’t working. Got the key fob out of my gym bag...light flashes but no response.

Climb in the cab and dash gives the message “key fob not detected”. Pressed the fob against the push start to get the truck going.

Anyone else run into a similar issue? I’ll try my second fob when I’m home. Possible interference from something else?

My cell phone interferes with my passive lock if I have the fob and phone to close like in the same pants pocket.
Oh is THAT why mine does that. I just thought the range was too small. I'll test that theory.

I'm having this issue as well for about 72 hours now.... Passive entry will not work and neither will push to start. Key fob has new battery and all other functions of fob are working. Any update on how to remedy this?

Install new led lights on the truck recently?
Nope, I saw that common thread through here. I went and got all new bulbs and put those in (even though no LEDs were in there). Took it to the dealer and had them witness the issue and have an appointment for Monday.
