Just rolled 9,000 miles (make that, 10,000 miles)

lol im not the one made the post so I dont have 9000 miles. and I get a new truck every year because I just feel like it... not that thats any of your business. but hey you do you and go around judging others for their choices if that makes ya feel better inside lol..
That’s cool I wasn’t judging him. Just trying to average how many years he might keep a vehicle. He might have changed one like you say a year later. Like you say none of my business how either of you spend your money. I am glad you have the good fortune of replacing a vehicle every year or 6 months it you wanted. But do not read too much into my replies or take them in the wrong context.

1,800 miles on my tungsten. All is great other than I can hear something rattling around inside the tailgate when I raise and lower it. Not sure if I should take it into the dealer to check it out. I dread dealing with the service dept.
There was a YT on that...2 holes in the tailgate that debris can fall into...the YT ended up making plastic plugs that he sells to fill those holes.

Sorry to be such a noob, but what/who is YT?

Could be a trim/cover piece to an opening at the bottom of the tailgate that fell into the cavity of the tailgate from the wiring/harnesses going into it. Does it sound like a "plasticky" sound? If so, that's what it is. If you have power tailgate, it could be a mechanism from that. There is an access plate on the inside of the tailgate....pop that off.....you might get lucky!! Keep us posted.

I dropped a plastic piece somehow inside the tailgate while putting the bolts in for the bed extender to connect. drove me nuts for months until I found it haha.

It 100% sounds like plastic bouncing around.

This is my third truck with air suspension since 2017 I find it funny when you get these guys throwing the panic grenades on the air rides in cold weather... mine sits outside haven't had an issue with any system. in fact the guys I work with at my station have them and haven't as well. go figure. only time he did was a 2017 and it was bad sensor. but because guys read about problems from 10 years ago you should never get air ride in cold climates! haha. okay bub. lot of old guys dont like change on this forum lol. its a lot like the firehouse. im sorry the I love the HO way better than the Hemi. if it will help I can sit next to you while you drive the HO and whisper vroom vroom in your hearing aids.
I have had 4 Rams with air Rides never an issue in cold and had some very cold days in Ohio over the years!
