Hey guys (or am I supposed to say humans now), I just had some tires out on today and thought I’d share. I purchased Atturo trail blade XT’s in a 325/50 22. I replaced the stock Goodyears 265/50 22. I purchased the truck preowned and I’m pretty sure it has a 2” level, maybe a 2 1/2”. I also installed 1 1/2” wheel spacers. Had 1 tire installed and it rubbed quite a bit so I had the spacer removed and it cleared with very slight rub at full lock. Honestly, with a little persuasion though I think it would work with the spacer on. I may try them again in the future with some manipulation just because I really liked the stance. But, overall, I’m very happy with the outcome. The pics doesn’t do it justice. In person they look a lot beefier. Also, I measured from the ground to the fender flare front & back before and after. Went from 38” to 40” and tires are basically flush with the fender. As far as drivability, the ride, believe it or not, is actually better and smoother somehow. Only a slight higher pitched hum above 35mph as to be expected but you can barely hear it. Shifting seems to be normal, mpg seems to be around the same, and my steering seems to be tighter. I’ll know more about all that after a week of driving to work. I’ll update if anything changes and if you have questions…shoot.
( FYI, the driveway is not level)
