Hey all,

Just picked up my 2019 ram today, had a trailblazer for 16 years so it was time. Anyways love the truck, drove a whole 5 miles today...

Questions:
  • Is there a way to make the heated seats turn to low when using remote start ( and I believe regular starting too?)
  • When did you do your fist oil change?
  • Any must have accessories?
Crappy pic below it was raining and late once I was done.

Congrats on the truck. Post your truck stats in your signature, it will help folks who want to answer your questions to know what you have on your setup.

I believe there is an option for heated seats on/off with remote start but not temp? I could be wrong though. There is also a thread dedicated to first oil changes.

Congratulations on your new truck.
No there is not an option for lowering the heated seat settings with remote or regular start.
Oil change, I do it when the oil life is around 10 percent
Accessories, spray in bed liner, all weather mopar floor mats.

Nice choice!

I wish we could choose the temperature level and if the passenger seat could be preheated too! Unfortunately, no option for either, just like my 4th Gen.

I believe in changing engine break-in oil. So, that's 1K or less for me.

First thing I'd add: Weathertech splash guards. After that, check my signature for ideas, and in them the most functional are the bed step, VLEDS, and the Lomax.

Enjoy it!

Thanks for the replies. I'm just surprised you cant set the level of the heat for the starting, oh well. Only thing so far that has me thrown off is the shift knob and the keyless setup (i've been sticking a key in my whole life).

Good idea on the mudflaps and rear step (wish the mopar one wasnt so expensive)...

Congratulations on your new truck, I hope you get a huge amount of enjoyment from it.

Please add your truck's build date to your signature, it's important basic info that everyone should have.

Good luck with the new truck!

Why is build date important?

Why is build date important?

Because certain build dates mean certain timeframes where items could be fixed if you need to have a recall or firmware updates. Statistically, the later the build date, the more 'refined' the vehicle SHOULD be.

Build date was 12/18

Cleaned, clayed and sealed the outside Sunday while it was above freezing. Hope it's good enough till end of March when I'll do a ceramic coat.

Just received the weather tech mudflaps and ordered the Undercover Ultra Flex cover for the bed.

Debating on what exhaust to do but leaning towards borla touring...

And are they active or decorative?

As JLUR said the hood comes with the sport package with the same color bumpers etc. They are decorative from what I can tell but I remember reading a thread on here where someone bought the parts. to make it active.
