Just Ordered a new 2021 Limited Night Edition

Hello Everyone. I am Ken from Brisbane Australia. New here and now a member.

I have ordered a new 2021 RAM Limited Night Edition...due for delivery mid July.

The Australian Spec Limited only comes as follows...includes everything...except HUD and Multifunction tailgate. It only comes in the Night Edition (I chose Billet Silver) but does come with ETorque, RAMBoxes and 3.92 diff with the 5.7

My use is daily driving to my offices in other cities, up the beach every couple of months and towing my 911 Turbo interstate to track events. Hence getting a better tow platform in the RAM instead of my Amarok Ultimate 580. I'' do 1000 bitumen kms per week

I have already organised for the ARB Dual Battery system to be installed along with tint, BUT I need your thoughts / guidance on the following:

1. Tyres. Looking at Nitto Terra Grappler G2 (305/45r22 - I have run many sets of Terra Grappler G2 and love them). I also have recommendations on the Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 A/T and the Nitto Ridge Grappler in 33/12.5r22- Thoughts?
2. I need to run new Driving lights on the front. I never run a bull bar and do not require a nudge bar. I like the Randy Ellis / N-Fab / Carid style Spot Light bracket that mounts to the front Tow point mounts but cannot seem to locate any for the DT model
3. Tuning - Recommendations? DiabloSport, Pulsar etc...ECU Remapping or a piggy back like the Pulsar. I have only ever had cars properly dynoes and full remapping and tuning with COBB, Motec etc. this will not be getting a replacement ECU

Its not overly easy to source this stuff in Oz, but I thank you in advance for any recommendations with backed up data or experience.

I am trying to get Ridge grapplers in a 325/60r20 which is proving to be difficult unless I order internationally and pay import duties etc. The more common sizes are available here and get very good feedback from users here.

Ill be doing similar k’s (maybe not as many) per week as we head to our place on the south coast most weekends. So have a vested interest in finding the best rubber possible.

Can’t give you much in the way of tuning, but Ive done plenty of research on lifts, wheels, tyre fitment etc. if you need any advice there.

Thanks for replying. Lift is ok, wheels will stay factory. Just the tyres, light mount and possibly a tune. I am so looking forward to it.

With regards to tuning, I think the only option for the 21 is a Pulsar at this time.
Before you get too deep on the lighting, the LED on the 21's are pretty amazing...but I've never been anywhere where the only light is from the stars. There's so much light pollution in the big cities, you could almost drive without headlights at night.

Haha. I know right. When you are on the country hwys here in Australia, they are no different from Utah/Moab/Arizona/Nevada and Colorado - Been there and done that a few years ago. I will definately await the RAM first, but looking at options. In country areas of little to no light, the surrounding bush just absorbs the light...you need serious lights for our roads. when I tow the Porsche to Sydney etc, I usually leave at Midnight and you need all the light you can get.

As per what's on the Amarok, I am happy at a fully lit up 1 Lux at 900m. Broad beams all the way

HI, I also have a Limtied ordered here in Aus,. Supposed to receive next week and also interested in these tyres. Are you planning on changing anything with the air suspension? I believe these will rub from what i read. I was looking at a getting some winter wheels and wrapping in 295/55/20 ridge grapplers to hopefully not have any rubbing issues or having to to suspension changes.
