Hello, I just got my RC Struts installed yesterday. Only put about 50 miles on them so far so I dont' have much to say about them other than they feel mildly more stiff than stock. I have a 2021 night edition 1500 without ORP. These struts caused my front to be a little higher than the rear at this point before settling. I'm curious if I add something like Motofab 1" or 1.5" spacer in the rear will my stock shocks handle that length? or do I absolutely need new shocks? I'm still debating using ORP springs vs a spacer but the question still applies. will I need to change shocks. thanks for any help you can offer.

I wouldn't worry about new shocks with a 1-2" lift unless you go off-roading, and more specifically off-roading where you need a lot of articulation, not just mud or dirt roads.

Even then, you're probably not going to ruin your shocks. Personally I wouldn't waste the money for the sole reason of matching the increased height. If you want a better ride, go for it, but not because of the lift.

Thanks for the info, I thought that was the case but didn't want to cause any damage. I assume it just lessens the travel of the shock due to being extended. After getting on some level ground i'm sitting at 39" front and 38.25" rear. Not terrible but im still hoping the front will settle. I do tow from time to time so i'm interested in getting some rake back in the truck. I also just ordered my new tires 275/65/20 and new rims, so i'm looking forward to getting those put on.
