Picked it up on Monday for 20k under MSRP... I Really like the truck so far! Ride is great, sound system is ridiculous! feel like a kid again blasting loud music... one thing I'm not really liking is the wheels. I live in CO, and we get a lot of snow. These stock wheels aint cutting it in deep snow. While shopping for 22 inch winter tires, I'm realizing by the limited selection they are not really made for off-road. Does anyone know what putting 18inch wheels paired with 275/70 toyo open country III A/T do in terms of noise/ride quality/MPG? if the smooth ride goes +increased noise I'm thinking it might be a trade off to have a set of winter wheels/tires and run stock wheels/tires in spring.

thoughts?

I have 22's but don't know the specifics of trading out. A tire/wheel shop would be a good start. If you had the $ and the storage space a set of winter wheels would be nice though a decent AT should get you both ways.

It just depends on which tires you go with, they are all different. Keep in mind, that most 18" wheels won't clear the brakes. So 20" wheels are a safer bet unless you can confirm that the 18" you want will work. You could also get 18" take offs from a Rebel and either keep the tires, or just replace the tires. You might be able to find just the wheels used.

I ended up going with 20" on mine. I went with Rough Country bronze wheels. Tires are Falken AT4W 275/60/20, which is a 33" X 11. They ride just as smooth as the OEM tires and no noise that I have noticed. Though I have poor hearing. MPG is about 1.5 MPG worse than the OEM tires which were 275/55/20 (32").

*Also don't know if any of this is different for the '25. Not sure if they have the same brakes.
