Having trouble with my tailgate not opening. Have had issues since I bought it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it sticks. If I bump the right side it unlocks. I have seen others that have had this problem on this site. I have taken it to the dealer and the say either they can’t find a problem or i exceeded the load for the truck. Which has never happened.

You are not alone with the issue.
Mine will stick but I have always been able to open it with another try (or 2) with the remote. Sometimes it seems to need more "time" between "clicks" on the remote or a push on the tailgate to align the mechanics of the tailgate. So far I have always been able to open the tailgate with one or both procedures.
