I have a 2019 ram 1500 longhorn with a 6" body lift, after i got the lift everything was fine but i wanted to go higher so i had a 2" body lift installed with 37" tires. now, not everytime maybe 1 out of 5 times, i open the door to either enter or exit and the running board will deploy and then retract. then i simply close the door and try again and its fine. anybody have a clue?

First which running boards are these, secondly were you the one that installed the body lift ? If not definitely take it back and replicate it for them. On a side note please share what this truck looks like now on 37” and a body lift. :)

Not sure which running boards these are.. I didnt know that Ram put different retractable boards on, these were installed when i purchased the truck. I wish i can take it back but im out of state for the next few months now. The truck looks awesome with 37's. it has a BDS 6" lift with fox shocks and a zone 2" body lift with nitto ridge grapplers

Most of the times they are the oem Mopar ones so I’m going to safely say that’s what they are. Which means they are covered under warranty as long as they can’t prove anything that you e done has caused issues. :)

Oh nice, I’ve done business in California, just don’t do well with heat so can’t stomach living there. I hope they have a simple solution for what’s happening. :)
