Thanks for the confirmation @MG99 !

Based on this as well as the info from @Pyleketerson , I definitely have leveling with some kind of spacer, maybe even be exactly the 2" ready lift that was shown.

Follow up question, I have heard folks the leveling kits on 5th Gen that the control arms are not beefy enough to handling the leveling over long term. Do you guys have experience the similar understanding? The chief concern I have is that if something goes wrong or prematurely wears, Mopar MaxCare will use the leveling kit as the excuse and skip out on the warrant around this area.

So from what I’ve learned on this forum if you keep the lift/level at 2-2.5 inches (you’re there now) the ball joint of the stock upper control arms should be okay but its not ideal because of the stress of the angle on the ball joint. For example the Mopar 2” lift kit provides new upper control arms with a ball joint that’s angled like 15 degrees to make up for the 2” lift height. So, for piece of mind if you keep your truck leveled you could always replace the UCA’s with a set that has better angled ball joints. UCA’s themselves are only a couple hundred bucks.
The warranty issue raises mixed opinions. I’ve heard warranty won’t cover repairs if lifts/level is proved to cause the damage. How they prove it, I don’t know. But the Mopar lift kit if installed at a dealer IS covered under warranty from what I’ve read.

@MG99 is there a easy visual way to tell if I have the angled UCA? I took a few picks in case that is possible just by visual inspection without getting under the truck.

Looks like you have original UCAs which is fine unless you plan to go off road and put more wear and tear on them. Otherwise wouldn’t worry too much about it.

8A6052F0-E34A-4E0C-B7E6-F07EC84E4DFE.jpegIt looks fine. But thats the ball joint angle you you want to keep an eye on if you go any higher.

As mentioned those are probably the stock UCA’s. There are a few threads about the Mopar lifts/UCA’s on here if you do a search. I’ve seen pictures comparing the stock vs Mopar. Here’s a link to one where member @Chippy measured the angle, for example.
