Is it safe to pump foam cleaner to evaporator hose on the firewall to clean, remove bacteria and odors?

I used to clean the AC system on my BMW by injecting Lubegard evaporator foam cleaner into the evaporator hose located near the cabin air filter.

Now I want to do the same on my 5th gen RAM 1500 HEMI — does anyone know if there’s a similar hose location in the cabin air filter where I can spray the cleaner in, or should I do it using the whole located in the engine firewall, the one I included in the pic?

After that, my plan is to blast the AC on full and spray Lysol into the exterior air intake vents under the hood.

Has anyone done this before? Any tips or things I should do differently to fully clean out the AC system?

You can also spray something like Frigi-fresh into the cowl with the blower fan on high and recirculation turned off. A more direct method is removing the cabin filter and spraying directly into the heater box, you will want recirculation on when doing this
