I recently replaced the factory led tail lights on my 2023 ram 1500 with Recon smoked led tail lights with the sweeping turn signal. I also replaced my third brake light with Recons matching smoked led third brake light. For the first two weeks Ive had no issues. As of about 4 days ago ive been getting an intermittent message on my dash saying the rear drivers side turn signal is out. When this happens, the dashboard turn signal arrow flashes fast as if a bulb is burnt out. The message pops up and goes away at random. Ita stayed on anywhere between a few seconds to a minute before it clears itself. Sometimes its when im turning (right or left), sometimes its when I stop, and sometimes its just when im driving down the road. Yesterday I stopped at the gas station and it happen to come on when I parked. I turned the turn signal on (message still on dash, arrow still flashing fast) and the turn signal on the tail light is operating as it should normally (including speed). I walked back to the cab and the message was still on the dash and the arrow indicator was still flashing fast.
I checked the plugs, cleaned them, and added dielectric grease. Didn't see any corrosion or loose wires.
I disconnected the battery overnight hoping that would cure the problem but it did not. Anyone have any idea what the issue may be? I called recon and they weren't much help. They just told me to get a video of the message, the indicator flashing fast, and the tail light working properly but I haven't been able to have the message stay on long enough to do so.
