Interior overhead light not coming on, with door open ,2024

Sure you can press the switch overhead, but what's the trick here?
 
Drivers door only or any door ? Gotta be an override somewhere !
 
Its worse than that. In the overhead there's one on and one off.
To switch the doors correctly, the on switch must be off, and the off switch must be on. Really.

What threw me is the label on the off switch. After zooming in on a pic, I see now that's the outline of a truck with a door open!
Who knew? It's tiny. Anyway, I appreciate the tips, and this looks new for 24.

It’s not new. My ‘22 has the same switches.
 
Different trims, have different switches. Mine are a lot different. On OPs, the left switch enables and disables the lights with the door. The right switch is to turn on and off, with doors shut.
