Interior lights and cargo/bed lights

What is the device that turns on the interior lights, i.e. dome and above the center console along with the cargo and bed lights. I can turn on each of these separately except for the two above the center console. The lights get power but do not turn on automaticly when you open a door or tailgate. The rotary dial does not do anything. Thanks

Two many questions, without enough information. There are a lot of variables. There are different laid out overhead consoles. Different number of switches. Different dome lights. All the info should be in your owners manual, showing the different setups.
