Instrument Cluster - What is This?

Just noticed this little hole in the top right of the premium instrument cluster. Got this image from the owner's manual and still can't figure out what it is. I highlighted the hole in question:

Any ideas?
 
Dayum, there is one on the left side as well. got me curious...
 
One is a live feed camera to the engineers and the other is the microphone so they can see and hear your reaction when they hit the button to freeze your 12 inch screen up.
 
Maybe they are for the same purpose as the ones in airplanes windows, keeps them from fogging up or frosting over.

Vehicle Security Warning Light — If Equipped
This light will flash at a fast rate for approximately 15
seconds when the vehicle security alarm is arming, and
then will flash slowly until the vehicle is disarmed.

Also used for programming keys.

I think this is what it is also.
