Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know if the blindspot module can be added to non-blindspot tails? I have a 2019 1500 Laramie with the blindspot/crosspath and am wanting to swap to the rebel style tails (black middle and edge). I found some that I'm liking the price of without blindspot, and my blindspot modules work great, but it looks like the non-blindspot tails are molded, where I was hoping they would have a blanking plate installed? Can anyone confirm if the non-blindspot tails have a plate blocking off the sensor on the back or if its actually molded plastic?

Thanks

non blindspot tails are molded plastic - you can see the recess and make the cut yourself with a Dremel, and then you'd have to add the 5 missing wires inside the taillight..all do able...then the sensors / aluminum backers will drop right in.
