inexpensive ditch light brackets option

Little work in progress BUT these ditch light brackets work great on the cheap!
15-18 f150( yea yea) ditch brackets are 15/16 bucks on Amazon vs the putco at 50 or any of the ones you have to take off/ move the hood bracket.
Remove the lower corner trim, remove 10mm bolt, bolt in ford brackets, mark where to trim the plastic a little ( no different than the putcos)
Pop the trim back in
Done!
Still plenty of clearance too!!

I have 0 reason for those kinds of lights, but I love the install fitment.

Putco? If so, that's what I have. Mounted to the fender bolt rather than the hood hinge?

No the putco goes out over the fender
These ford ones go in over the windshield
Also a lot cheaper for 2 small brackets

Yes but they point out and go over the fender
The putco bracket is s/z shaped verse this ford is c shaped and the lights mount over the windshield vs out over the fender like the putcos do
The putco isn’t a bad design I just don’t see two small brackets worth 50 bucks so figured I’d try the ford ones for 15

nice find, I think I got the putco below $30 when I got mine. And they mount at the same spot. I do know some websites have the wrong pic on the putcos that made people think they attached to the hood

I used ebay ones that bolted to the hood hinges, powdercoated black. $40 shipped, fit perfect
