I am wanting to increase my idle speed up about a 100 rpm on my 2022 ram 2500 hemi. I called garages in my area and none can do it. Has anyone done this and if so what and how did you get it done.
Thanks

I'm interested as well. A higher idle speed could help reduce the chance of a cam/lifter failure due to excessive idle time.

I think you need a custom tune to be able to do that. Also, you might have better luck in the Homepage - HD Rams forum. This is the 5th Gen 1500 Rams site.

The 5th gens don't have many issues with lifters. Dodge/Ram already admitted they were using bad lifters and switched to a lifter with larger needle bearings.

Also, idling was not the downfall of the lifters. Want slightly higher idle, turn your A/C on and it will get you about 100rpm
