Incorrect Odometer Reading reported on Carfax

I went for an oil change last Friday at my local dealer. I just received an email from the dealer for my free Carfax report. I noticed right away that the dealer reported I had 94,367miles, but I only have 9,439miles. Someone fat fingered the report.

I did file a correction with Carfax. I hope it gets fixed.

I got my monthly Carfax report yesterday and it was off by 6,000 miles. The report has an edit function, so I corrected it.

Yours shows "estimated" mileage. Where as the OP dealer entered in a mileage that was incorrect.

The edit function only works if the mileage you're reporting is more than what's in the report. I had to fill out a separate form to fix mine from 94k miles to 9k miles.
