Hi all I drive a 2019 laramie longhorn 5.7 with the etourque set up and the starter / alternator has thrown a bearing and has died and I can't find one threw the dealers any where in canada or the US so I am hoping to find a used one so I can get my truck running again as I would hate to lose a top of the line truck and have to trade it in for something a lot less just because I can't find a new alternator.

Any info would be appreciated on here of any and thankyou all in advance.

Little to no chance in the Us. All dealers backordered. Three months is typical.

There is a post on this forum with the bearing part number and step by step replacement process. Probably should only be undertaken by a skilled mechanic.

Going this route with the right skills, you could get yours going very quickly.

sorry man, you had to know the odds were not in your favor...... there is money to be made in a MGU delete kit. they say it can't be done cost effectively may be someday?
whole motor 38k mi with the MGU 3950.00, MGU alone with 61k 2799.99. that's crazy i should buy the motor and sell the mgu off then sell the motor even then the MGU is a gamble. alas i don't gamble.
saw a guy on youtube take the "brain" off the top and transfer it if you do that you don't have to have it programed.
