Maxtrac suspension offers a 2/4 drop, Front uses adjustable drop strut. This is my truck running a IHC 3/5 on 26" wheels. View attachment 41867

I actually just emailed them asking about the adjustability on the front strut. Trying to get my truck to sit as level as possible without a load and without having to trim a little rear coil. I’m wondering if anyone is running the 2/4 drop on the factory 22s. Id love to see some pictures if so.

that 3/5 kit does look badass, but I’m not trying to drop that kind of money.

I went to their website and found absolutely nothing that would apply to mine. (Hope they do a kit for the 4x4 as well.)
Did I miss something? Or did you just call and talk with them?
Thanks!

you have to go to maxtracstore.com (accessory partners or whatever it’s called). Maxtrac actual website isn’t updated, they’ve posted it on Instagram. I’m about to get my 2/4 drop within the next month.

I have McGaughy’s 2” rear lowering springs and recently cut 3/4” off them. the rear is now a 1/4” higher then the front. Will add helper bags later if I plan on towing anything. I also installed the Hellwig sway bar so no more water wagon sway. The ride is just as smooth as stock. View attachment 40042
Where did you buy your 2" lowering springs bud? (web site)

@Magna - in case you are still looking for springs there are two sets you can choose from now by Maxtrac (which I believe is the same as the McGaughty just different powder coat color) the 272920 or 272720.

The 272920 springs were originally used on the 4th gen Ram 1500 and fit pretty well in our trucks, though the spring diameter is slightly different.
The 272720 springs are what MaxTrac's is now recommending for a 2.25" drop in the rear for 2WD trucks. I think that this spring was originally designed to be used on the rear of Chevy Tahoe's, as I installed these on my truck and the directions were for a Chevy. Here is a pic of my truck with 22s using the 272720 springs. You can find either of then on the MaxTrac Store (Accessories Partner LLC) website at https://maxtracstore.com/

I just installed the 272920’s and I feel like the rear sits even and is a little softer/ mushier then my stock ones. Makes me wonder if I should order the 272720’s then?

Here’s a good photo of my truck with the drop. Had 100 miles when installed 😅

I have had the 272920 in my truck since about 1700 miles and i am currently on 21,000 miles and change. Not mushy on mine at all. I do have about 1/2" of rake still but that don't bother me. I don't tow or haul anything so i can't say what they will do if you put a load on them. But i have never bottomed out on anything. I still have the stock sway bar and links. All i changed was the springs. I was thinking of switching to the 272720 springs but they are for a 2wd, and mine is 4wd. So i haven't done it yet.

I think what it is, is that I’m close to riding on bump stops and when loaded with passengers it’s making contact with them. Mine is sitting perfectly even right now. I’m considering putting in a half inch spacer or even a one inch spacer to get a little distance between the two. I think with that and bags it will help me out.
