Hey everyone, I'm working on installing some 3 inch cube lights on the hood hinge of my truck and I'm trying to see which fuse(under the hood) would be best to use for a 12v switch. Thanks!

Are you looking for a power wire for your relay, if so attach it to one of the studs by the fuse box. There should be 5 or 6 of them. I connected mine to one of these for my STL wireless remote.

Hey 2019Rebel, I was looking at that as well(thanks for that, do you remember which post you used?)but looking for a spot to run my switch wire. A fuse to peggy back off of. Something that turns on when the truck does and turn off when the truck does.

I think it was the 2nd stud in, just take off the fuse box cover by the battery and you will see those studs(they are closes to engine). The second one is linked to the first one without anything attached to it. It is always hot but the way my remote switch works is when not in use it doesn't draw any power. When I want my light on I have to hit the remote switch twice, first one wakes the remote up and second one turns the light on.
I eliminated all the running of wires inside cab by using the STL remote switch.

Got it! Thanks man! I do remember seeing that when I was looking and wasnt sure cause it was like 150amp and so forth. Yes I have the trigger 4 one. Those toggle switches are bluetooth so I'm not running any wires though the fire wall.
