Im wondering a couple things, see images:
1) Is there a Pin or Dowel that is supposed to catch the sides of the underseat storage?
2) Is there supposed to be this gap on the hinge/pivot pin?
a) Or is there supposed to be a spacer
b) Or is this hinge/pivot pin supposed to be screwed all the way in?

Thanks for your help.

1. NO
2. That's how it is...what are you concerned about?

No worries, I bought this second hand and just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. I am curious about those holes though... like what they are used for
