I question this lift?!

Bought this vehicle used last weekend. 2019 Laramie. On purchase I was told it had 3.5 rough country lift, and it def rides significantly higher than stock. Crawled under yesterday to take a closer look at everything and for the lift of me can’t figure out what they really did. I don’t see after market shocks and can’t really identify that the UCA were actually replaced. And idea what’s cooking on this front end? Maybe I am just misidentifying things?

I can't see any lift at all to speak of.
The only pic that says its lifted is maybe the pic with the cv 1/2 shaft.

UCA is def. not stock...but the rest of it looks stock

Interesting. It measures 40.5 inches from floor to top of wheel well. Has 265/60/20 tires in it. Maybe all it has is the wheels???
I am actually really happy with the height, I just want to make sure I am not driving a suspension that will give me issues. In attached pictures it looks like the joint is working hard.

That's what a Ready-lift kit looks like...coil spacer and upper control arm replacement.

I don’t believe so as long as you don’t try jumping it going 70mph but I’m no mechanic, I think the biggest thing is you were told it’s a rough country lift and there’s no upgraded shocks on it

Yea it was bought private party so I am sure when he bought it he was told likewise. Last owner didn’t do any of the work himself as the old sale pics had it looking the same

Looks only to be leveled in the side shot. I'd ask the dealership to get a hold of previous owner to get info on all mods made to the truck.

You have a Ready-lift leveling kit on your truck not Rough Country. Those are Ready-lift upper control arms. All Ready-lift 2" leveling kits come as spacers and upper arms only, no shocks.
Rough Country 2" leveling kits replace the front coilovers with upper arms as an option. Their 3.5" kits also provide rear shocks.
Your truck should drive and handle just fine with the 2" of lift in front. This is a common lift hight by many manufacturers and is used/abused regularly. Anytime you lift the front of an IFS truck with just a leveling kit keeping the arm pivots in the same location you are going to get a little bit of increased wear on components like CV shafts, tie rods, ball joints, etc.(you can see the changes in angles yourself) but this is expected and generally accepted provided you inspect and maintain them.
Remember your truck only has so much suspension down travel (about 4.5") so 2" is already used up now by the leveling kit.
Go enjoy your new ride you're good!

Did some more poking around this is what other side UCA looks like. Only think I can think of is they install a RC UCA for a 2018 3 inch lift onto my 2019 that has a 2.5 inch lift. Rough country SKU: 31201
