That’s the first thing I thought of when I first saw they were adding the passenger screen. My wife regularly uses her iPad while we’re traveling and I’ve been blinded by it many times.

so i have a few rules for passengers/wife = 1 do not touch MY volume knob, 2 DON'T TELL ME HOW TO DRIVE and at all times keep you foot off the dash and in the truck not out the window. for me that screen can only cause problems......i open the door for her not because i'm a great guy but because she swings it open so hard she is almost breaking the hinges i never said CHILL OUT on my door so she just thinks i'm being a good guy.

I have to figure out how to jumper the screen so the system doesn't freak out.... I'll admit I haven't researched that yet.

did you find a solution for this? just got mine, did not want this dumb screen but if you want a higher trim, you have no other option. I've been trying to find a matte film for it, but no luck. Found some dude who said he had a local shop custom cover his, but I haven't found anyone that could do that for me. I'm hoping you found a great solution!

I was going to order a ‘26 Limited. But Ram makes you take all the bulls… options in the level a package. When we ordered a JGC Summit, it didn’t include that passenger side screen. We had test drove a Summit Reserve which includes that screen. After the test drive we decided, for us, it was not wanted.
I really like the Tungsten, but I Do Not want that big *** sunroof. Limited, it’s optional at least.

I just can’t seem to find harmony with Ram’s option package logic.

I want a nicer trimmed truck but with as little tech/screens as possible. No sunroof, no passenger screen, would prefer the 8.4” screen to the 12” which I’d prefer to the 14”.

Also want the HEMI or HO Hurricane and a 6’4” bed, real leather seats and top LED lighting gear from LTD or Longhorn, but no leather on the dash nor air suspension.

I’m a real picky SOB and as a consequence I wait on the sideline.
