I hope the dealer is taking your truck and giving you money back. I bought a new 2015 Charger Scat Pack with leather seats and Nav for $37k. By 2017, the base cost of a Charger Scat Pack was still $39,900.
I had replaced the 2015 (buy back) with a 2017 at $38k (MSRP was $43k). These cars had less than 20 miles in 2015 and 2017.
A 2016 is already 9 years old and Covid allowed for ridiculous pricing that hasn't normalized, so I would expect that the Challenger should be around $17k today, but I know it's not. Your truck should also benefit from the increased prices today, compared to what it cost new.
