Hurricane HO Oil Change Pricing Question

Maybe I skimmed too fast and missed it, but what oil filter are you guys using? Not trying to open a can of worms with this! Just want to make sure I'm looking up the right p/n.
Appears that both the 3.0 SO and HO use the same filter. True?

I agree with @shottel - the Penn ultra 0W-40 is $7.49 at Napa, free shipping. That's $60 for an oil change.

On the oil side: You'd need to pay tax on the NAPA price (puts it around $65 for the oil), and a filter ($7.30 plus shipping and tax, call that $10.00) so more like $75-80 at the cheapest. As much as I am a 'change your own' guy, for the HO right now and the prices in my area, it doesn't make sense for me.

Yup, you're right. I just ordered oil and filters from NAPA for two changes. Total cost is $72 per change, and it's being shipped to me tomorrow. I think there's a Pennzoil rebate other than the one for getting your oil changed at "participating locations" - but now I can't find it.
I can't touch this price in my area to have it changed for me. I wish I could! Good for you having a better option that works for you.

I just ordered an oil filter and will most likely be doing my 3rd oil change soon. This is for an SO not the HO, but I usually do my own oil changes mostly because I have a busy schedule and find it easier to schedule an appointment in my garage than to take a trip to the dealership and wait there.
