Is anyone getting close to the epa rating of 19mpg city and 24 mpg highway. I have been close on the city at 17mpg but on the highway it drops to 15 mpg. This was a big deal to me and buying this new 2025 Ram. Also having some misfire issues but the dealership says they can’t duplicate and no fault codes.

Nope not yet. I have just under 600 miles on mine. On the highway getting around 16.....14-15 in town. Hoping it picks up a little bit as the motor gets broken in. I also have the 3.92 rear end, so not expecting anything close to the sticker.

13.8mpg. but it only has 1,100 miles on it. I thought for sure that this thing would get better mileage than my lifted gladiator did.

Do you guys have SO or HO? I'm just at 300 miles with my Tungsten (HO), and like you all, I figured the dismal 12.8 MPG is break-in related. And we've had some snow/ice, so some of that was on messy back roads with 4-Auto.
I think the HO only pairs with the 3.92. So the EPA MPG on the sticker should take the diff into account.

I am averaging around 16.4 mpg in my Warlock with just around 1K miles.

At 400 Miles, All mixed driving, and I just broke 16.0 mpg

Just over 2,000 miles on my Tungsten, am averaging right at 16.2 mpg mixed driving. I do have a lead foot though.

I had decently high hopes for this engine esp since the Toyotas are having issues with their V6. I figured that would level the playing field or maybe give Ram the edge but not looking like it so far. Do you ever watch auto auction rebuilds? He had the exact same experience as you. Really bad MPG and random misfires with no codes. My ecodiesel Rebel gets 24-26 mixed and my dad's Longhorn Hemi gets about 17.5.

I too think the gas milage sucks. but on the other hand, you would have to modify the 5.7 hemi to get the same power these engines are putting out. After you modify the hemi, you'll be getting between 11-15 mpg average. I had a 2009 challenger with Arington heads, cam and 90mm throttle body. I was averaging about 12mpg's. And looking at the numbers from drag racing it. The rebel I have with the 3.0 sst is just as fast. And it's a giant truck.

This is gonna sound bad but its not a complaint. My latest tank average was 21.8l/100 or 10.8mpg. This was all short trip city driving, very cold, -25c every morning (truck plugged in sometimes), remote starts for at least 7-8 mins sometimes multiple times per day, 4 auto 100% of the time. I mean this is as bad as conditions get without a trailer. As bad as it sounds (the milage and the weather lol) I think this is actually a pretty good improvement over my old hemis which in previous winters I have seen 26ish L/100 or sub 9mpg.

I'm getting 18-19, mostly highway driving w 2500 miles on it, except for my most recent fill up. Someone drilled into my gas tank! I have a 3.92 rear end and the trailer tow mirrors.

Summer miles had me around 17-18, winter miles have me around 16.
10,000+ miles, but a H/O.

In the dead of a cold winter here, I can't seem to get over 12.5mpg in my SO Laramie and it does not improve driving on the highway. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm avg 16.2mpg in my warlock and it's been really cold all winter.

I did a 600 mile driving trip the first weekend after I purchased my 2025 1500 Rebel, during the trip which was primarily highway driving I go at average of 16.5 MPG, Since then the MPG numbers have been dropping, just broke 900 miles today and the average is now 14.5 MPG

Give it more time...

I was so disappointed when I picked up my 2025 Bighorn (3.92 axle) last week and reminded them to fill the tank. The disappointment was that the range to empty said 330 with a 33 gallon tank.

So I did a short test over the weekend and go the following results.

With the phone app it said I covered 124.9 miles since my last fill up. That matched my 125 miles measured on the ODO. But all the trips said I used 37 gallons of fuel. Obviously that was incorrect as that was more than the tank capacity. That mileage came out to 3.36 MPG.

With the Trip computer, it said I had again done 125 miles but had a mileage of 11.89 MPG. That's where the range to empty is coming from as the latest number with a full tank was 360.

When I filled it back up, it only took 5.5 gallons ... which manually calculates to 22.7 MPG.

It was combination highway and city driving. I expected there to be some variations, but those were all over the place.

I just traded my 2021 Hemi with 9:92 gears. I'd average around 16-17 around town and could get 20-21 on the highway. I just picked up a 2025 3.0 SO with 3:55 gears. I only have a few hundred miles on it, but I am getting 20.9 on the highway. That's winter, mountain driving. I'll try manually calculating it as I put more miles on it.
