I towed with my Rebel yesterday for the first time and it did great. I towed a 2012 Dodge Avenger for about 250 miles , used towing mode and had my trailer brake at 4 and it was fine. But after removing the car, unhooking the trailer, now when reversing I hear a humming noise which sounds like it's coming from the rear of the truck. I have the truck back in normal mode, the trailer brake is back to zero and the noise is still there. Anyone ever has this happen to them after towing? I have no clue what it can be.

Id check to see if auto parking brake is active.
I keep all that stuff turned off.

No it's off. I keep that stuff off also. I wentout to the store earlier and backup and the noise what's gone. So I have no clue what it is or what it could've been.

Some of these trucks develop a rear brake moan. Mine did and I added the rear brake brackets and it solved the problems for me. If you do a search here on the forum you will see several posts about the issue.

I would get it backing out of the garage in the mornings especially on cool mornings.

My 19 had the brake moan bad enough that it sounded like a tug boat horn when I would back out of the driveway anytime the humidity was up. My curent 22 does it just a little on occasion. Not enough to bother me enough to actually throw money at it yet.

Vary the pedal pressure a little when backing up and see if the sound changes.

As of today I haven't heard the noise since yesterday morning. I took it for a ride to the bagel store, backed up a few times, came home and it was gone. I have no clue what it was but it sounded like a low trumpet

I have a noise in the rear that occurs the first time I back out of the garage and it only occurs as I start to turn during the backing maneuver. You can feel it in the truck, need to get it in to see if it’s something in the diff.

My 19 did it incredibly loud even with the brake silencer kit installed. One foggy and humid morning, I backed out and per normal, got the brake moan for appx 12-15ft, then stopped for traffic. I look next door and there's a little boy standing in the front yard. Probably 8 yrs old looking all around for the sound. After about 4 seconds, he freezes in place, then runs off screaming.

So don't let it bother ya too bad. The brake moan does have certain entertainment benefits.
