HU Losing Presets - Update Needed?? Please Help!

I thought I posted this question the other day... but haven't seen any feedback or answers. I also did some checking in other forums and saw folks contact Ram Cares on this issue.

So, I bought a basically 'new' 2022 Ram 1500 BH back in Oct 2023 (with 4K miles on it) and like it so far... with the exception of how the radio/HU is working. I keep losing presets (EQ/radio stations/loudness setting and speed adj volume) and want to know if that's something that can be fixed with a OTA update? How do I know if I have the latest? Can it be checked with my VIN?

I also have issues with the HU taking WAY too long to recognize a USB and the music on it... and sometimes not even going to the USB, despite having that setting 'checked' in the Settings to do so.

How do I contact Ram Cares?? I'd like to do so before going to my Dealer, which sounds like it's a "waste of time", if others have done so, and the dealer did nothing about this issue. I want my HU to work as it should... I just lost presets again this morning.

Please let me know when time permits. This is getting very annoying...

First things first check what version of the software you are running.
Would be S23 T25 T27, something like that.
All the way down in settings (across down on the left)
Post a picture.

To start would need to know which display you have. As for contacting @RamCares , I just did it for you
 
Oh... terrific, thank you. I went to their website, did a chat, and THEY didn't even tell me how to do it!! Ugh.

I have the base system, 8.5" screen... sorry. Should've included that.
 
I think I got the info needed... have a look when time permits. I didn't see any other SW version related menus or screens.

Likely nothing. Majority of the time @RamCares does nothing except say "please pm me your Vin number" then proceed to ignore you or just say goto the dealer anyways.

They will usually PM you, or ask you to PM them. They are basically just a liason between you and dealer if you are having issues with the dealer.
