Hey folks! Glad to see there's a place I can go for ideas and recommendations. Pulled the trigger on a black Laramie with a bunch of options added. I internally fought myself on the 4x2 vs 4x4, and went with the 4x2. I know deep down I'll regret it, but in all honesty I am very satisfied with the purchase. There are some things that I wasn't able to get at the time of purchase that either just wasn't available, or was past the price point I was willing to go. Hopefully, I can check back here for some insight on some modifications I'd like to get started on.

Off the top of my head:

Black wrap for grill and all badges, ceramic wrap, high quality tint, power running boards, exhaust system, cold air intake, then tires, wheels, 6 inch lift, and at some point I'd like to upgrade the fuel tank to the 33.

Now I've called around a couple different places to inquire about the 6 inch lift for 4x2's, and there doesn't seem to be a manufacturer that makes them (recalls; see earlier mentioned regret), but was told that there *should* be availability on lift kits taller than 3.5 at a later time. Because of this, I'm hesitant on tire/wheel purchase until I know fore sure they will be available. I'm specifically looking for 37's on 22's. I feel these dynamics wouldn't be too big or too small.

Again, any insight on the things I've mentioned, or additional things I may not have thought about yet, is definitely welcome. Also, feel free to post pics of some of your setups!

if you have LSD or the E-Lock you will be fine with most any conditions you encounter with a 4x2. It's not like Houston gets much weather (except your floods). Maybe that 6" lift will come in handy for events like this latest storm!

Welcome and congratulations on your new Ram. Thanks for the photos. I especially like the interior shots as they are unique views we usually don't see. (y)
