Here’s a walkthrough of how I retrofitted the Uconnect 5 system into my truck that came with Uconnect 4 from the factory.

Overall it was an easy upgrade and took all of about 45 minutes to knock out.

Would it be cheaper to buy the parts separately and program with Alfa OBD? Or do I need to buy the kit?
