Hi guys,

Im looking forward to install the brake controller in my Laramie 1500 2019. I had a 1500 2014 and I know how to take the dash board and under the wheel appart but I dont know if for this "All New" Ram something changed. I been looking for hours for any Youtube video, instructions or something but no luck, looks like is so new that nobody made anything. I assume that is like the 2014 but of course, im worry to brake something in my "new truck" because missed remove a hidden screw or something.

Any help will be appreciated.

Here's actual instructions for removing the 8":
https://www.mopar.com/moparsvc/pim/media?id=9428497235998

It's interesting that these seem to be the instructions for adding the phone wireless charger to a vehicle.

Yet everytime I asked my dealer if this feature could be added to my truck, they kept telling me that it's not available and can only be ordered at the time of ordering and building the truck at the factory.

Not sure why they say that. Here's the link to buy the kit:
https://moparonlineparts.com/1500-wireless-phone-charger-p-8538.html

Just make sure you have all of the prerequisites.

Thanks for the link. If I added it, they may not want to add the sales code for me. LOL

I wonder what this truly means "A phone-specific case is required, and is included in the price" as my phone already support wireless (Qi) charging). I wonder if this is for phones that don't support wireless charging?

I’m in the middle if the installation of the brakes controller (trying), found the cables that go to the module (no clue where the module is going to sit because everything is different than my 2014) but I can’t find the damn cable that goes to the console switch, the button you squeeze to activate the brakes manually. Did anybody have a clue or can give me so light? I’m about to close everything back and cancel this, I been looking everywhere.

Thanks a lot, that’s exactly what I needed, even more to find out that brake controllers from previous years doesn’t work in the 2019 model, the module bracket is different and the squeeze switch also is different, bummer. The module probably is the same and the switch too but the trimming is diffferent, if I’m able to install mine it will have a hole uncovered in the bottom of the switch and the whole purpose of this project was to look factory, I better install a third party controller and save the computer programming fee.

Thanks a lot my friend.
